how to sew buttonholes nancy zieman

Sewing buttonholes has gotten a bad rap. I’ve quit counting the number of times people have said to me, I’ll sew most anything, but not if it has buttonholes.

Wait there’s more . . .

If you need an introduction or refresher course to other sewing or quilting techniques, check out Nancy Zieman’s The Absolute Easiest Way to Sew. (It’s weird talking about myself in third person. I digress.) You’ll find updated basics in this compilation of my favorite tried-and-true sewing and quilting tips and techniques.

In the mean time, test out a buttonhole, or should I say, side-by-side satin stitches!

Bye for now,
