Sew a T-Shirt Dress with Pamela Leggitt and Nancy Zieman | Sewing With Nancy

Dress up your wardrobe, literally. During the perfect tee Sewing With Nancy mini-series, my guest and pattern designer Pamela Leggett shares fitting, sewing, and designing techniques for a classic tee dress. Join us on the second episode of Sewing The Perfect T-Shirt, this time concentrating on making a dress. Watch online, on DVD, or on PBS.

Once you know how to fit a tee top, as featured in the first episode, applying that knowledge to a classic tee shirt dress is a natural progression.

Just a Few Tips on What You’ll Learn

  • See how easy it is to modify the neckline.Sew a T-Shirt Dress with Pamela Leggitt and Nancy Zieman | Sewing With Nancy

I’m trying to tech my 18 yr old granddaughter to sew (she is a very enthusiastic student). You know that at her age it’s all about t-shirts and prom dresses. Here is the problem. I’ve forgotten much of what I knew about sewing. I’m struggling but her excitement boosts me up and I just love it when she comes over to sew. I can hardly wait to show her this e-mail.
She will be here bright and early Saturday to finish that prom dress. Looking good!

Ladies thank you, I’m dyslexic and the way this was produced is awesome for someone in my shoes. I get it now, you know those little tips and tricks one learns along the way.

I did not know the name of the first neck shape, wow, right. I mean, I came to a place I could not proceed to learn more about sewing and fabrics, due to not reading well. Constantly reversing concepts, I drove myself crazy.

Videos like this are the cat’s meow so to speak. I get so pumped and motivated when I see your videos, Nancy. Thanks Bunches
