I am doing a variety of holiday sewing. A Christmas outfit would be lovely but in addition to that, Christmas aprons, oven mitts, tea towels, and Christmas stockings for our newly adopted dogs. There are gifts of all types to sew even did wall hangings. Not enough time in my opinion.

I don’t have any specific holiday sewing planned but you never know when I might find an occasion that requires a new tunic or dress.

Am making a Christmas quilt for a granddaughter who just graduated from college, got a wonderful job and bought a new home. Am also trying to catch up on Christmas tablerunners, and embroidered tea towels that I started in July but 3 hospitalizations interfered and now it seems like I am running the machine 24+ hours a day to complete all my intended gifts. Would love to make this tunic pattern, perfect for wearing with leggings.

Having recently rediscovered “my sewing joy”, snap scarves as Christmas gifts, a knit faux off the shoulder twisted neck top and a run to the store jacket are on my list of things to sew this month.

Four bathrobes are on my sewing list for the “littles” Christmas gifts. If time permits a tunic for myself would be great as well.

I would love to make this tunic for my daughter and maybe myself to wear during the holidays.

This is a fantastic pattern! It looks like it might hide the few pounds one might gain around the holidays! I am making corn sack heating/cold packs for Christmas gifts this year, I saw the pattern on a YouTube video. I also made a child’s purse for a Christmas care box this year, and added ribbon to already-made kids purses to give them a little personality.

I am finishing a cute fused XMas tree pattern I picked up at local quilt show this fall to adorn my studio this holiday season. Other than that, I had no holiday sewing planned, however, I like Deon’s idea of a velour top with this pattern. Cute pattern. Looks pretty quick and EASY (one of my favorite four-letter words!) LOL

I am making a Christmas wreath table cloth. I am quilting several wreaths in a larger circle so I end up with a circular cloth for my table. The centers of my wreaths will be Christmas prints from my mother in-law’s stash.

I have plans to create a tunic, with this cold weather I need a tunic to wear with warm tights. Thus pattern is a lovely design although the neckline would need changes.

    November 12, 2019

We are active at our local university and are invited to dressy events 3 or 4 times a year. I want to be dressed appropriately and still be comfortable. I have black pants, top and long dress made of slinky that I call my “uniform”. I change the look by wearing different jackets. This year I am making a kimono style jacket out of a sheer fabric that has small areas of “eyelashes” on it.
