NEW! McCalls M7751 Summer Tops Designed by Nancy Zieman
Whether you choose casual or classy, you’re sure to be comfortable wearing this New! McCall’s M7751 Shaped Hemline Shirt Pattern by Nancy Zieman. Last spring, Nancy enjoyed working on this new pattern design for the McCall Pattern Company. Her goal was to give the classic button down blouse an update. We think you’ll agree, Nancy hit it out of the park with her fun fashionable features!
- Flattering angled lines and side insets, coupled with roomy ease, make this top super-stylish with a relaxed fit! For interest, Nancy chose a soft asymmetrical stripe fabric—for View A.
- The top features a back yoke. The buttons down the top back add design, plus a bonus lower vent!
- Sew a color blocked top with three fabrics! Mix and match for an interesting and complementary combination—For View B.
- Wear Nancy’s McCall’s M7751 Shaped Hemline Shirt Pattern with a skirt, pants, or leggings.
- The vented cuffs and shaped hemline add sweet fashion detail—much like icing on a cake!

Sherie Black
Would make View A for summer casual wear and View B in a drapey fabric for dressier occasions. Like them both.
Brenda Nance
View A. I love the blue cloth used on the sample. I like the way the stripes look different on all the parts even though it’s the same cloth.

Rita detwiler
I love view A!

Definitely the view B, casual dressy, wear everywhere. I would make in drapey fabrics. I would probably do it in low contrast fabrics for me. Less is more!

Barbara Howes
It would be fun to play with View B using combinations of fabric I’ve hoarded!

Sandy Davis
I have some wide striped soft linen-like fabric I’d like to make in View A. The shirt collar style reminds me so much of Nancy. My husband & I attended Sewing Weekend 2018 for the first time & had a wonderful experience! I was so sad I couldn’t come years sooner. I know it would’ve been even more special with Nancy there. Please keep her on Public T.V. I watch every episode, even though I’ve seen them multiple times, in her memory! What a special & talented lady!!
Margie
I love, love, love View A! I am a size 16, but only 5 feet tall so it’s impossible to find flattering tops. I have decided, after many frustrating trips clothes shopping, that I will now make my own tops and View A would be perfect!

Brenda
I would love a copy of this pattern, even if I have to pay for it.
I have watched Nancy’s shows for most of my life, recorded them to watch after work. Hard to think of her being gone, brings tears to my eyes, still. She opened the world of sewing to legions of people, across every creed, race, and gender. God blessed us with Nancy’s Sewing w Nancy show.
Kim Barnak
I love both. Have been looking for tops to wear over leggings and I think that both would work great.
Karen Tucker
Definitely View B – grey and black and leggings and red heels! Great look!!

I really love view A. The button detailing on the back of the shirt gives it that ‘ready-made’ look that I strive for in my sewing!
Linda Schafer
I have been madly making leggings this past week and have been having trouble finding a perfect top to make for them. Style B will be just perfect. Can’t wait to get ahold of the pattern.
Ann C
I would start with view A, then on to view B. Finally, I’d do one with parts of both views. This pattern is so versatile & perfect for the “plus” figure. I’ve always loved Nancy’s patterns and have several in my pattern library. Nancy is the reason I sew today; she taught me everything I know through her wonderful show. I bought MANY of her VHS tapes and now her DVD’s & I watch them over & over as well as her show on TV. I miss her so much & still cry every time I think of her. She was my ‘sewing angel’.
