Oh I love This! I make a lot of t-shirt quilts for people, I’d love to be able to suggest other projects to them for the extra shirts. The Christmas stockings and the pennant would be so neat to do to go with their quilts. Thanks for the chance. Merry Christmas!

The stockings are a great idea! I think I’d turn the logo the other way on a couple of them so they’d look rightside up.

Definitely going to try the T-tote. I just made a T-shirt quilt for my daughter for Christmas, using 20 Girl Scout t-shirts, but still have a few left, so this book gives me plenty of great ideas!

I would share these wonderful tips with a friend who is making throws from an uncle’s tee shirts, three for her mother and two other family members. She just got a machine and is already doing beautiful work.

Such neat ideas for items I never thought of making from a t-shirt – i.e. gloves and Christmas stockings!! Those look like fun. I have 3 boxes of t-shirts “donated” by my son who lost a lot of weight, and I’m looking for any kind of idea besides making yarn from parts of them. This looks like a great way to get started!!

I’d like to make the t-shirt tote. Who doesn’t need an extra tote? And who doesn’t want to help the environment by recycling and by using less plastic bags when shopping? This would make a great gift for lots of people. One could also wrap a gift in it.

I would like to try the customized gloves to make some cotton knit gloves I can use to keep my hands clean and for keeping skin oils off fragile materials. If they are made from old t-shirts, the gloves should be easy to wash and not to precious to dispose of once they wear out.
