I’m excited to kick off the Tablet Keeper Blog Tour today! Twenty bloggers have been selected to participate in this fun and creative Blog Tour. Clover sent each blogger a Tablet Keeper template set, plus all the findings (shapers, create-a-strap, hardware, stabilizer, etc.) For 20 days in January, a different guest blogger will showcase their Tablet Keeper creation. With the impressive lineup of bloggers, I know the creative options will be noteworthy! Plus, Clover gave us three product collections to give away as prizes! Scroll down for details.
During this blog tour, I know you’ll find artsy quilting and sewing techniques featured on both the E-Tablet and Paper Tablet options. Since the tablet keepers can be made in three sizes, you’ll find a technique that’s ideal for you! I’ve already detailed the basics of how to make an E-tablet Keeperand Paper Tablet Keeper in previous blog posts. Click and review!
Here’s my idea:
I selected the embroidery collection, Text Talk, which includes emoticons, smiley faces, and texting abbreviations. There are 117 embroidery designs: abbreviated phrases, smiley faces, Emoticons, full upper and lower case alphabets, numbers, etc. The unique part of this collection is that there are two placement stitching outlines to aid in perfect placement of the design no matter what size of Tablet Keeper you’re making.
Blog Tour Details
Each weekday, for 20 days in January, be sure to visit the guest blogger’s site to see their Tablet Keeper creation. Each day on my Facebook page, I’ll be directing you to the next stop on the Blog Tour.

Bye for now,
I love the pattern for the tablet keeper – I especially love the Petite Trillium design used for one of them! Just beautiful
I love these pattern templates for Pads and readers. I have a color Nook and Samsung tablet. I love the idea of my own covers that I can change at will. These would make great gifts for my daughter’s Ipads too. Great idea. Everyone made such awesome covers
Thanks for the great project. I am going to use this idea in my Teen Living Classes. I think my seventh and eight graders will love it.
Pam
Wow, I don’t have a tablet yet but these covers are amazing. I would love to make one, maybe for a good old fashioned pad now & hopefully a pad later. I’ll be watching everyone elses posts for even more ideas & colour combinations. Tracee xx
I have a Kindle Fire and I LOVE it. It is not quite as flashy as an ipad, but it does the trick for me. I do need to make it some pretty clothing, and your template looks great. Clover is my all time favorite notion maker!
i really like Cindy Cloward’s Tablet cover over at Riley Blake Designs. I like that she used a wipeable fabric. Great idea!
A totaly terrific idea. I would love to make several for friends and family….a great gift idea.
This has been a great blog hop. Thanks for all of the great ideas.
Love the fabrics and the foundation piecing method. i’ve gotten so many great ideas from this blog tour. Thank you, Nancy!
Thank you for showing us all these amazing blogs. I loved looking at all the creative options for the keepers. Some were truely amazing.
Ann
What a fun giveaway! I think my favorite that I’ve seen so far was the one at Amy Lou Who.
think i’ve visited almost all of these blogs and love seeing all the different interpretations of this template
I am sure I will be making lots of these. I know that once they are seen, everyone will want one. Thanks for the GREAT template!!!
Thank you so much for showing these different views on your pattern. It has been a fun and educating tour.
I love the look of the denim! What a great way to upcycle old jeans even! Thanks again for sharing.
Wow, really love the jelly roll strips! This has been a fun series. Thanks!
So sad to see the last day of tablet keepers, two more very nice ones today, with the batik quilted on being one of my favorites, as I am very partial to batiks. Thanks Nancy for doing this tablet keeper series, it has been so fun to see the new tablet keepers every day and all the new ideas they shared!!!
All the keepers I’ve seen are fabulous. What a great idea ton inspire the rest of us.
Love the creative fabric. Can’t wait to make a tablet keeper for my iPad.
Thank you for this great idea. I have loved looking at all the different covers from these talented ladies, can’t wait to make one myself.
Wow….today’s tablet keepers at Artfabrik are gorgeous! Thanks for showing us all these great creations!
I love your patterns for the different size tablets. It is fun to customize your own cover. Hope I win a prize.
Two of my favorites so far are Frieda Anderson and Laura Wasilowski. I just love what they did with your templates!
This looks like a great project for my iPad and Kindle!
I looked at Laura’s Tablet Keeper today and was amazed at her Seed Pods #2 quilt design that she used for her cover! The design and colors are so dynamic! She even painted white elastic to get the color she wanted. She is a very creative gal.
Laura did a great job on her design. I really like the use of the triangles to hold the bottom in to me there’s less chance of it slipping out. I don’t have a template yet but I’m glad to know that the tab template can be used for more than just the tab.
Wow another great Ipad ekeeper. Laura Wasilowski of Artfabrik did a beautiful job. Love how she changed the lower elastic corners for fabric corners (sturdier) and added an elastic for her Stylus. And the hand painted elastic wow I never thought of that. Great job Laura.
Just checked out Laura’s blog…her keeper is GORGEOUS! I was debating putting up a pic of the one I made, but looking at the others on Flicker, mine’s looking very homely, so I think I’ll just stick to admiring the others. LOL!
Annie, please DO post a pic of the one you made! We’d love to see it.
Love, love, love Laura’s tablet keeper!! Such great ideas/additions like the triangles, which would make me feel more secure; the stylus/pen holder at the top, which wouldn’t scratch a tablet when closed; and fusible binding!! Great ideas and inspirations Laura!! Just wondering what she used to “paint” her elastic….paint, dye????
love to make covers for composition books to give as gifts. with this i could make a neat cover for my nook and maybe talk myself into an iPad!
Oooh! I’ve made a few tablet sleeves, but I really like this bookish format that allows you to flip it open and closed. I’ll have to try it for myself soon — thanks for the idea and for your giveaway!
Love this one too!
I love Laura’s cover! Beautiful!!
Artfabrik did another amazing tablet keeper, with some more new ideas, just love being able to see new ideas every day, hate to see it end tomorrow!
Stopping on for today’s entry. This is the week! It’s been fun.
I’m looking forward to seeing tomorrow’s tablet keeper. Entering for another chance to win today. =)
Love the fabrics you chose; bright and cheerful.
Santa brought me an iPad … So I really must make a keeper for it. I’ve been so inspired by what I’ve seen, I’m looking forward to creating one of my own.
Counting down the days to the drawing and wishing – hoping – thinking – and praying that maybe I’ll win a kit?!?!?! =) Thank you!
Fabulous product – I’ve got birthday gifts covered for a year with these! Can’t wait to get started. This has been a great blog tour-I’ve visited a lot of new to me blogs.
Love the one from amylouwho1
These are so much fun! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Mary Mulari’s keeper is great. Nice bright colors with the black and white binding. This is so much fun.
Thanks for sew many days of informative tablet keeper posts.
You have had so many wonderfully talented people on this blog tour, Nancy. Thank you for the introduction. Loved many of Mary’s ideas and loved that she applied embroidery to the project – I enjoy doing machine embroidery, too. The binding in a black and white stripe was striking.
Love the bright colors today!
I love the idea of making these covers. I got a kindle for Christmas and have already made a cover out of a old book and lined with a quilted fabric. Very similar to this project. I might have to make more as there are so many uses for this kind of project! I love the idea of this template package. The bought keepers can be so expensive, on top of the tablet/kindle cost. Making one just seemed the practical thing to do!
I am buying my tablet next month, hopefully…these patterns are so cool…thank you for sharing this and the giveaway
Would really love to win this…I saw the kit in a magazine today and it’d be so awesome to have! Love all the ones created too!
LOVE the zipper pocket Mary Mulari added to her kindle keeper. Greatbway to keep the cable handy.
Loved Mary Mulari from Quick Sewing Project Blogs Kindle ekeeper. Like that she add a pocket to the inside for a tablet and added a pocket on the front for the charger cord. Nice work.
I was looking forward to Mary Mulari’s entry in the blog tour and I wasn’t dissappointed!! Mary’s tablet keeper is amazing! She always comes up with such unique creations and love her creativity of the extra pockets. Thanks Mary!!!
The featured bloggers have all shown interesting versions of tablet keepers. So fun!
If I had a digital tablet, I would definitely make one of these! I think I need to find someone that needs a birthday/Christmas gift now!
Great idea, pocket on the front for the charging cable, love it!!!! Just have to love the variety and the new ideas each creator comes up with
I don’t have a tablet, but it’s fun to see all the ideas the bloggers have come up with. Love the flaps on yours! The Text Talk is perfect.
I like Allie’s choice of the large print fabric on the cover of her tablet keeper. It provides a very contemporary look.
Using waterproof fabric. What an inspired idea.
Each days looks better and better.Love the fabric choices
Wow another great etablet keeper from Mabel at Think Crafts. Although she did not say if she had to do any moderations for her Motorola Zoom. I will have to make moderations for my Toshiba Tablet.
Thanks for the chance to enter. I liked today’s Android tablet keeper – the fabrics were great.
I looked through all the blogs and ideas again, last night. I am inspired by the crazy patch design. I have always wanted to make a crazy patch quilt (which isnt’ getting done) so maybe I need to do smaller projects, like this, to satisfy my desire.
I really liked Allie’s choice of fabrics and colors!
Allie is a real fan of Nancy’s templates, including the ones for the tablet keeper. I was glad to read that there is one set of stabilizers included in the package – I’d missed that before.
What a creative idea! TFS
What a coincidence!!! My daughter and I were talking just last night about the new Nook that she got and I told her I thought I could find a pattern online to make her a cover for it! I woke up this morning and this was in my e-mail!!! She’ll be sooooo excited! Thanks for the fun blog tour!!!
)
This template looks fabulous! I really like the tablet keeper made by Julie over at Jaybird Quilts. It’s great to see what everyone makes
Terrific idea to host the tour! Loving all the great Keepers.
Is there any store in Michigan where I can purchase the tablet keeper template at? I would rather purchase the template just before I actually make it. I am excited about making one of these for my granddaughter
Love this! I would love to make a cover for my iPad!
Great cover today!
I received a Kindle for Christmas and I sure enjoy it. I bought this template after Christmas and have the perfect coordinating fabric set. I enjoy all of the ideas and look forward to making my own Kindle keeper.
I love the Tablet Keeper blog tour! Thanks to Clover for sponsoring it!
This is sew much fun! Love seeing how each blog creates such unique touches for the Tablet Keeper….can’t wait to start mine (after I win, of course!…LOL)
Enjoyed seeing all the different versions of the tablet keeper so far!
Love Amylouwho’s tablet keeper
I saw this on AmyLouWho, and I think this is a great idea–love notions!
I really loved the surprise Amy did for her friend, she had thought of many meaningful details. Thanks for sharing.
This is such a neat kit. I first saw the tablet keep on Jaybird Quilts and then on AmyLouWho’s blog. The strap maker thing is really cool!
Great ideas. Recycling jeans as tablet covers is priceless.
I like how Amy personalized the tablet keeper for her neighbor. It looks great! What a nice gift for your friend!
Amy’s tablet turned out to be really cute. I’m sure her friend enjoyed receiving such a special gift.
I’m Amy’s lucky neighbor and the recipient of the beautiful iPad cover! A true surprise from a true friend! She inspires me often and now I want to make coordinating covers for my Kindle and notebooks! What a great idea to host this blog tour, Nancy!
Amy’s idea of putting a name on the keeper was great. I liked her closure, too; it looked like it would be very secure.
What a great keeper — love the combination of the camo fabric with the bright print:)! And now that I’ve found all of these new blogs to check out, I’m wondering when I’ll find time to sew! Thank you, Nancy, for introducing us to so many new sewing inspirations!
So many possibilities!
Today Amy showed another great way to repurpose. I really liked the camo fabric with the floral. Nice.
What a cool idea for Christmas gifts, I’m planning too to get a kindle fire. Thanks for posting this
Amy’s tablet keeper she made for her friend was such a good idea! How fun that she surprised her friend!!
This is a great cover, I have several friends who got tablets for Christmas and have been looking for different options.

How cute! I love my Kindle–how great would it be to have a case made form pretty fabrics!
I love clover products. Nancy, you should really make the time to go to Banff and Lake Louise and if you have the time, Jasper. The scenery is spectacular. Take the Columbia Glacier tour in between … before the Glacier is gone
What great ideas. Thank you for the opportunity to enter and hopefully win!
Great job with the old jeans and very pretty.
Anytime I can reuse or repurpose, I feel like I’m more creative. I love Becky’s keepers using denim, because soft, worn denim just feels good and they are so cute too!
What great idea to make the tablets in denim, Beckie, esp. recycling jeans. The pockets are a great addition and the idea is wonderful for boys.
Love the denim tablet keepers, that’s a great idea, especially for a guy! Keep them coming, I look forward to the new ideas each day!
The denim is a great idea, looks great for a guy but you can make it really girly too. Recycling at it’s best!
I Love denim! What a great way to recycle. Thanks for sharing another great creation!
I’m a compulsive list maker. This tablet keeper in a size for my purse will help eliminate all the little pieces of paper that congregate in my bag. A matching one for my Kindle???
I can’t believe how many versions of tablet keepers I seen through this blog. So many good idea’s to choose from. I could actually make a different one for each day for two weeks.
I love the way Cindy’s tablet keeper turned out.
With each new day that goes by I wish my template would arrive, but must wait as it is on backorder. CLOVER – please send more units to Amazon so that they may fill my order quickly.
Great idea with laminated fabrics with the last keeper! I may have to keep that clever idea in mind.
Using laminate is a great idea!
The laminated fabric in today’s tablet keeper is great! Can’t wait to put all of these neat ideas to work creating my own tablet keeper.
I liked the laminated fabric choice, beautiful fabric colors

Just stopping by for my daily entry.Wonder what Monday’s keeper will look like?
What a great idea for our next Quilt Guild boutique!!! A sure seller.
I’m supposed to be cleaning but just spent a bunch of time seeing all the tablet keepers. Favorite so far is the Lazy Girl ones but will check back. I can’t wait to make my own.
I would really like to make some of these. I just got two kindles for my classroom and I definitively want something to protect them.
I’m new to all this excitement. Nancy’s Bogs seem to be just as fun as her show. I’m signing up to keep in touch.
I’ve actually been wanting to make one for our iPad for my husband, and maybe an interchangable one for when my son uses it.
These tablet keeper templates are brilliant, what a useful way to use up small art quilts and quilting samples and then giving them as gifts instead of keeping them piled up in the corner….
One suggestion I have for Clover about their tablet cover pattern is to add a pocket or compartment to carry/store the charger. When I bought my nook last year I found that having the charger with me was essential.
I know that creative sewers/sewists can ad lib this kind of extra but it would be great to have it included.
Thanks for all the creative ideas from the contributors!!
The Tablet Keeper Blog Tour keeps getting better and better – so much inspiration. It is such a treat to have the blog to look forward to after work. Thank you so much!!
These are too cute. So creative. I plan on making one soon.

I am loving all the different tablet covers thus far can’t wait to make one.
Piece ‘N Quilt’s choice of fabrics are very cute! I still don’t understand how elastic straps at the corners are sturdy enough to hold a tablet or iPad. I would think it would slip right out.

I would love to make a cover for my sister’s ipad & would also love to make the paper pad version for my self. Great patterns & they look So gorgeous, thanks for a lovely giveaway.
I loved the fabric Jenny Gabriel used in her tablet keeper project.
Love the tablet keepers! I especially like the one made using Maxine fabric.
Julie’s tablet keeper is my favorite so far-love her choice of fabrics!
Just saw Julie’s keeper at jaybird quilts and it was adorable! Hubby bought me a Kindle Touch for Christmas and I need a keeper for it. I made one from a tutorial, but it was way too big. Said the next one I make will be from a pattern. Would love to win this!
I have to tell you how fun it is to visit the other blogs and to see what everyone is creating and getting their helpful hints. Thank you so much.
I got an e-reader last December and love it. I did not think that I would be they are great. I bought a pretty generic looking cover, so I think that it would be great to personalize my cover.
Love this idea! Can see myself cruising into a boring meeting at school with my fancy pad and case causing an uproar. I am not kidding here it does not take too much for teachers and administrators to get excited unless it is money.
Just got a Kindle for Xmas. I am already thinking that it needs more than one cover- maybe a whole wardrobe of them. I am looking forward to getting lots of ideas from the blogs. Thanks!
The ideas are so varied, I like the one with just the graph paper. Good ideas and I like the fabric choice.
another great tablet today! Loved the choice of fabrics giving it a “quilted” look.
Love all the tablet covers! How can I make just one – guess there are lots of different uses so I can make as many as I want to…
This s beautiful! My hat is off to you for your creative efforts. I hope that I can make one as pretty as yours. Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway.
I sure enjoy seeing the new tablet keepers each day, and all the different ideas each blogger is showing, love it!
thanx to clover for a great giveaway! like your colors and tute, you make it look easy-peasy.
Love, love, love the tablet keeper. Can’t wait to try my hand at this.
Thank you for starting the blog tour on the tablet keeper. What wonderful ideas! Can’t wait to make several for our Kindles. Especially like the Jaybird Quilts version.
What a great way to play with fabrics & techniques while still having something other than a sample square at the end of the process! I particularly like the tablet edition, that way I can use it by my sewing table to take notes on various projects.
I like this tablet keeper, I like how a pen/pencil holder was added. I wonder if on the leftside of the e-reader keeper it could be made to acommodate a small paper tablet? Since you can get on the internet with most readers you may need to have a pen and paper available for notes.
I love all of the tablet keepers. Beautiful colors. I want to make some for Christmas gifts. Never to early to start sewing for Christmas!
What a cool pattern!!
I can’t wait til I can purchase the templates, I have the pattern from McCalls but have yet to make one. The templates make it so much easier to place the various tabs, marks etc needed for perfect placements.
What a great product! I just read Julie Herman’s review and love the tablet keeper. It’s so versatile and anyone could personalize it to make their own statement. I always have a notepad with me and normally carry my kindle fire as well. Matching covers would be fabulous! Thanks for being sew darn creative, Nancy!
Julie’s tablet keeper is very pretty!! I’m really enjoying the blog tour and seeing everyones different versions on the concept. Thanks!
Lovely tablet covers! I’d like to make one. Thank You!
Nancy,
You chose some great bloggers to represent your template. I love getting to see the variety of fabrics and closures each person uses to make the table keeper.
Great templates. Love the ones I have seen on the tour. I made my own last year for one kindle but it is a bit wonky and having a real pattern would help.
As I was reading Jaybird Quilt’s blog post, I realized that a small, pencil holder would work perfect for a stylus used for a tablet. So, another tip for my future project!!
What a great product. I’m really keen to make something individual which will stand out from the crowd, rather than the boring black cases I see for iPads everywhere. Thanks for the inspiration.
I saw your tablet keeper on Jaybird Quilts. Super cute!
These tablet holders are great. I especially liked the wool one with needle felting and the tangerine and aqua. Ones.
So fun looking at everyone’s tablet keepers.
these tablet keepers are adorable! i think it’s really hard to get teenagers excited about anything, but this personalized keeper is a sure-fire winner! Three cheers!!! i want one for me too, for all the notes i have to take at departmental meetings :O)
So many ideas, I don’t know where to start! Three tablets in our household so it might as well be there. Can’t wait! Thanks.
These tablet keepers are all fabulous. So many ideas! Can’t wait to get started on my own.
I’m excited to make my own!
Oh, these are great! I’m loving all of the ideas from the bloggers, I just might need to make a few of these for my NookColor. That way I can change them out to suit my mood!
Great blog tour. I love seeing all the different choices.
I just checked on Julie’s (Jaybird Quilts) and love how her project came out. I made something similar a few months back but think this project is much better. It’s going on my to do list!
These are wonderful! I will start with one for the ipad, but I see several others in my future!
These tablet keepers look stunning. Would love to sew one for my iPad
Susanne

What a great idea! I would love to win one!
Wonderful ideas for Reader and Tablet covers, Nancy! I’d like to make a snazzy one for dd’s ipad before she goes off to college this fall; maybe in her college colors with a contrasting accent. Thanks for the contest and the great line-up of bloggers! Cheers, Cathy
Love the unique fabric choices on today’s featured tablet keeper, and the fun use of the feather stitch.
What a wonderful idea for gifts! I especially like the felted cover as it is uniquely beautiful and very functionable. Keep the wonderful ideas coming.
All of that needle felting was so impressive. I’d love to make one of these, too!
Happy Valley’s tablet keeper is awesome, thanks for sharing it with us!
Wow, Happy Valley’s tablet keeper is awesome!! thanks for sharing it with us.
They are all so unique!!
The felted one is a beauty!!
Happy Valley’s gorgeous tablet keeper is a work of art! I’m going to keep in mind the tip about using wool to help wick away the dust!
love the felted wool tablet keeper – that is beautiful!
Loved the wool felted keeper. I like to do wool lfelting projects. Never thought of using it on a keeper.
LOVE the wool! These keep getting better, this one is just beautiful.
I am loving the many different approaches to creating an e-tablet keeper. Such creativity! Thanks for the blog tour!
This is great! I plan to make a couple of these for ladies going through chemo due to breast cancer. They have so much to journal and take notes on. The pocket is great for their calendars that the doctors give them to keep track of chemo, shots, and other medication and doctor visits. I’ll be using some pretty pink ribbon fabric.
It is just so cool at all the neat stuff that Clover and Nancy keep coming up with. I would sure love to win this awesome collection of notions.
i LOVE THESE KEEPERS—-CAN’T WAIT TO MAKE ONE FOR MY IpAD AND ANOTHER FOR HUSBAND’S nOOK.
I am new to this blog—and what great ideas. Thanks for the great instructions—-I plan to start with the Paper Tablet Keeper, since I don’t have an etablet yet—-but when I do get one, I will be able to make a cover for that also. So, many great ideas ~
Thanks
what a great idea, Nancy…so on top of the trends! Just what quilt/sew women are wanting! Love it!
I just discovered this blog tour. It is such a wonderful idea! The first ideas I read about are at Pat Sloan’s website. I have been reading about fusible fleece, but this is the first time I have seen a project using it. Thank you to Clover!
So many ideas, I love this. Can’t wait to make one for my Kindle Fire.
Thanks for introducing me to the Clover blog. I never thought
to look before.
I’m still enjoying the blog tour and all of the new ideas.
Awesome tablet covers! Thanks.
Love the idea of the templates, they make it so much easier and give a professional looking result. Hope I am a lucky winner, but either way my iPad will be looking smart.
Wow, Liz Hicks at http://blogerisms.blogspot.com/2012/01/art-journal-and-tablet-keeper-projects.html really took this to a new level! What a creative way to use the tools in this Clover giveaway.
I need to make a cover for a tablet and an e-reader and will be looking at all of the different projects before deciding how to make mine.
Great prize! ~Cindy
Watched the video demo and was completely hooked. Immediately ordered what I needed to complete the project and am eagerly awaiting delivery so that I can get started. It will be perfect for my new Kindle Firefly.
I love how different all the tablet covers turnout. I like that everybody says the templates are easy to use.
Thanks so much for an awesome and generous giveaway.
usairdoll(at)gmail(dot)com
Another great tablet keeper! Thanks for sharing all of these ideas!
I liked the d-ring as a buckle application that Fran used.
This is just the inspiration needed to create a tablet keeper for my husband’s Nook. I am picturing some embroidery on top to personalize it even more.
Very nice, they are all so different. I’ll have to check out the wonder clips.
Glad I read Clover’s blog! I’ve seen the Chaco-liner in catalogs, but now that I read how it is used and how it works, I’m thinking I need one in my “tool bucket”! Loved the choice of fabrics and the tip of using the elastic material doubled. I’m going to reread these blogs and create a tip list, so I’ll be prepared when I try my first tablet keeper!
I like the idea of the wonder clips in the latest post. Great idea.
Love Liz Hick’s painted covers! What a wonderful idea!
Like Liz, I am also a stamper and love my Copic markers, too. Her ideas for combining the two crafts is great. I can always think of paper craft uses for my Nancy’s Notions purchases. That makes them even more economical, right? ☺
The great ideas keep on coming with todays stop, a new-to-me blog.
Wow, the hand painting on today’s site is terrific. Wish I could
channel some of that talent.
today’s tablet with the paint was FABULOUS!!
wow, another unique project, can’t wait to start one for myself
Another super-creative project.. Makes me wish I could paint!
I really like this one but I don’t paint. I can’t wait for my templates to get here. I was hoping to get them today but maybe tomorrow.

Gmama Jane
Love the pen holder on Jan 11. Very thoughtful
Enjoying all of the variations of the tablet keeper.
I can’t believe all the neat idea’s these women have come up with for making a e-reader cover. There are just so many to choose from. I will try and make a different one for each of my family members that have an e-reader. They will be shocked.
I love this. I want to make one for my tablet and the tablet my daughter is going to get and ….
I’m trying to hold out until the end of the month to get these new templates. a new iPad cover has really been on my mind. I even have the fabric all picked out for it.
Wow, Liz certainly has talent. I enjoyed reading about her 2 keeper’s and seeing her finished project!
I’m still using “paper tablets” and always bring one to my sewing classes. This will definitely be on my to-do list.
Betsy, that is a great idea!
I just received a Kindle as a gift this year and was looking around for idea’s on making a case for it when I ran across this tour. Love the idea’s and can’t wait to visit everyone’s sites. Great giveaway too. Thank you for the opp. to enter.
Love Liz’ version! Wish I was good with paints and such, but I love seeing projects like this by such talented artists.
I love the idea of a template for e-readers and tablets. Many of us will want to make keepers for more than 1 device, so the multi-sized template idea is fabulous! I also love the idea of the blog tour. So many bloggers with so many ideas! How inspiring!
Would love to win for my iPad
I made my own cover for my NOOK when I saw the cost of the commercial ones. Loved my fabric but the finished project left much to be desired. Looking forward to making one with an actual pattern.
I have an older nook and am saving my pennies for an iPad. I love to individualize my bags and accessories and your templates give me the starting point I need. I have your bag/purse templates and was excited when you added this handy template to adapt to all the sizes.
I also really enjoy your blog tour. I get to “sample” so many interesting artists and see their individual take on a generic plan.
Thank you so much, Nancy, for your tutorials. patterns and inspiration.
I have a Kindle. Would love to have the new Kindle Fire.
And make it a nice cover. Have my fingers crossed!
I was planning to make a cute cover for my new Kindle – mostly to protect it from scratches – but with all these ideas and patterns, I’m looking forward to an adventure. And I’m betting I’ll get many requests from friends to make one for them!

Crossing my fingers!
Just visited Eileen Roche’s blog and really love the embroidery design. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
The cover of Eileen’s tablet keeper is beautiful! If I had an embroidery machine, I would definitely try this. I also often wondered how embroidery would work on faux suede, and it looks great.
I enjoyed reading Eileen’s blog today and I love the free design she made. Thanks for the Blog Tour.

I just finished visiting Lazy Girl, Pat Sloan, and Eileen Roche and got great ideas at each of them. I especially liked Lazy Girl’s use of the same fabric for the cover and the flap closure. You did a wonderful job choosing participants.
Love your design. Can’t wait to get started
This would be so cool to win. it would be cool to get to make something for myself. It seems all I do is make stuff for my daughter, or gifts. It’s like I never get to spend a dime on me. As a homeschool mom my money always goes into Ed stuff for my daughter.

My first project will be a Paper Tablet Keeper. I am especially looking forward to combining fabrics creatively – just like Nancy did.
I’m loving how each person has a different take, and their personality shines in their fabric choices and how they execute the pattern. I can’t wait to try this!

Hi, I had made a book cover for paperbacks a long time ago. I find it is just the right size for my Kindle Fire. I just have to make a few additions.
Hmmm, I was feeling pretty confident so far, until I read SewInspired’s blog. I’m going to bookmark her page and I’m sure her measuring suggestions will make more sense, once I see the actual directions. Love her choice of fabric and some of her suggestions, like doubling the strap length is a great idea.
I love the Tablet Keepers. I’ve thought about making one but just haven’t. BUT now that I see the Tablet Keeper Templates and the Shapers, I think it is time! Thanks for the inspiration!
The fabric that Vicki used today is GORGEOUS! Certainly would like to carry my Kindle in one of these protectors.

I thought the post at Craizee Corner today was quite helpful, as it made me aware of products I hadn’t known about. I am excited to get started on a Tablet Keeper, but think I’ll try to be patient and see what else I learn before this blog tour is over.
I really liked the idea that Sha used for the decorative stitched edging, instead of the binding.
Thanks for the interesting post on the tablet. Sha and Amy did a great job on theirs.
your tablet templates are amazing……………..
This is a lovely project. Thanks for sharing, and adding the sweet Clover giveaway too. Both Amy and Sha have nice looking projects.
Any suggestions on making a masculine one for my husband?
Bernie, we recently made a Tablet Keeper for an upcoming TV show using a brown faux leather and a geometric print for the binding and strap. It’s a very masculine look.
Received an e-reader for Christmas and was wondering how to make a case. cAme across this posting and now I not only wnat to make one for me, but want to teach classes in my shop for others to make one for their ‘pads’.

I love when other people put things upside down.
Makes me feel as if I am not alone.
Oh my … love the prize giveaway and the tablet blog Nancy. Plus today was extra special as I received my Nancy’s Notions magazine. Good Day!
Sharon’s tablet keeper is great, and I am definitely going to try the strap interfacing she mentioned, especially for the casserole carriers I’ve been making.
I would really like to try the strap stuff that Sha was talking about today. Very interesting!
I have alot of family that have electronic devices. This will be perfect for future gifts. Thanks.
Oh the possibilities!!!!! Now I can make covers for all my friends who have e-readers, I-Pads or whatever they are called!! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with. Thank you Clover & Nancy!
What a great idea! and fab giveaway too!
What a cool idea. How about one to match every seaon??
Sha did a very nice job! I likes hearing about sewing the name on upside down – glad to hear others do things like that to!
Just finally catching up on my FB posts since the holiday and found out about this Tablet Keeper blog tour!!! Now I am off to check out each of the days I missed because I so need this for my E Reader!
Wow, wanting to make a cover for my tablet, but can’t decide exactly how I want it. Maybe winning this will help me decide:)
Thanks for this terrific giveaway! I was recently given an iPad and would love to make a cover for it. It’s exciting to see all the different fabric choices that everyone makes. Can hardly wait to make one for mine.
It was fun to see Amy’s tablet covers today. I suspect each quilter’s personality will shine through in the cover she creates. Which makes me want to carefully consider my own choices.
This is such perfect timing! I was planning to Google “Quilted iPad cases” as soon as I read my emails–and here you are, with a month-long answer to my quest. Thanks so much for putting this together.
Your cases are cute, by the way.
I love it! Now I just need a tablet.
This looks great! I tried to make myself an ipad cover and it didn’t work out that well. It ended up too big and that might not bother some people, but it bothered me. I didn’t even finish sewing it. Of course not finishing means I can take it apart easier and try again! But these templates look super easy to use.
Just received an ippod for Christmas and will be getting the Kinlde soon
What a useful set of tools from Clover! In this family, only the males have androids or tablets. Not me! My husband, son and father-in-law. You think one of them would like a nice cover? Thanks for the tour and giveaway.
Great design on the tablet keeper. I hope to be able to make one soon. Everyone’s keepers are so neat! Love Liz’s.
Happy New Year.
Birthday presents for all of my kiddos, siblings.. wow how fun!!
This is the perfect project to zap the post-holiday blahs!
Love the template… it looks very handy…
Oh, how awesome! I’ve been searching the internet for a tutorial like this and here it is
Thank you for the generous giveaway!
What a great idea for gift giving for my ever expanding family! I’m looking forward to seeing all the different creations.
Wow – this looks wonderful! I caught the post on Amy’s blog today and now I can’t stop thinking about making one of these! I look forward to seeing the rest of the tour!
The tablet keeper blog is really fun. I can’t wait to see the rest.
I have a Nook that needs a cover. Guess I better get busy.
This looks like a really neat (telling my age) product. Thanks for a chance at those wonderful goodies.
I may have to buy an ereader just so I can make a wallet for it!
Would love to try a tablet keeper!
Although my son also got a cover for my nook, I think I’d like to make one using these great ideas.
Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Loved Amy Ellis’ description of the process. What is used for the corners, bias tape, ribbon, twill tape, elastic???
I’m thinking some applique would look great on front of the tablet keeper.
I would love to make one of these for my new tablet I received for Christmas and also as gift ideas for Christmas next year. I love Park City Girl’s pretty iPad keeper.
I love the emoticon embroidery on your cover, Nancy.
Great fabrics used on these ‘keepers’…and thanks for the giveaway!
I love that you can use the pattern for paper tablets also. They are great to keep in my purse for making lists or for the kids to doodle on when we are waiting at the doctor’s etc.
I was just googling for a kindle cover pattern last week and having no luck at all finding anything I liked. This would be perfect! Thanks for the chance to win.
I have been thinking about trying to make one of these for my husband – having the template and instructions would be a whole lot easier (and would look better in the end) than my typical trial and error approach!
Re Amy’s Tablet I like a more consistant look but it was an interesting concept to use a variety of fabrics for the binding.
I was gazing at Amy Ellis’ tablet keeper and it is super cute. I love this. This template looks much easier than the way I made my daughter’s case. Thanks for what appears to be a great product.
I received a Kindle for Christmas, I would love to make this for my Kindle.
Thank you for the chance. I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and would LOVE to make a cover for it, wrapping my head around trying to figure it out on my own had been headache creating
This template set is on my Puyallup Sew Expo shopping list. Would be thrilled to win this to already have one on my iPad when I’m there.
These are just so cute and way nicer than those ‘mass produced’ covers you find in the stores.
I’m so excited about this blog tour! I made a cover for my iPad2, but my choice of stabilizer wasn’t the best, so I’m looking forward to learning lots of tips!
Oh my goodness! I could really use this prize. I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I made a cover for it, but I would love this set of templates. How fun!
Can’t wait to see what the other bloggers come up with.
Debbie
I have aNook Color. I made a cover but want to make a new one. I have some ideas to make it more useful and better.
What cute keepers. Thanks for the giveaway.
I am planning to make a cover for my daughter’s Kindle. I’m glad to see how other people have made covers.
Fun, Fun, Fun! I don’t have one but my oldest grandaughter does! Would love to make her one, and me one for the old school tablet. Thank you for a great New Year hop and idea! Kim C ^i^
I have plans to make a cover for my Nook. This blog tour will be a great opportunity for ideas and inspiration. Many thanks!
Love these ta blet keepers….hoping I can adapt for my kindle…
This looks like such a great idea. I can’t wait to see what all those wonderful blogers come up with each day. There are a number of my favorites in the list and it’s always great to find a new blog to see more ideas.
I don’t have an e-reader but my husband just got one. Maybe I’ll make him a cover.
How fun and you can change out the covers at a whim! Great creative gift…to give and get.
Clover has such wonderful products and this looks like another winner. Can’t wait to see what all those creative minds will come up with on this blog hop.
I have been waiting for this! Can’t wait to see the creativity and try one (or more) out myself.
Wow! The line up is a Who’s Who of sewing creativity! I have an ereader and I can’t wait to see what they come up with! Thanks for the tour.
Love the cover, Hope I win.
Love these! I think I would put a pocket in the electronic tablet keeper to hold small notes and a screen cleaning cloth.
I am anxious to make a cover for my iPad – and my husband’s, my son’s, my daughter’s and my son-in-law’s. With all of the choices, I am sure to find one for everyone.
Love these! I’d make a bunch of them!!
These are gorgeous! Can’t wait to see what is in store tomorrow!
Thank you for the generous giveaway. I’m so anxious to see all the wonderful projects. Happy New Year!
Oh great! I want to use fabric that looks like craved leather with a pocket on the front of real leather with my fancy embroidered initial!
I love these. I don’t have any electronic device that would fit these, but my daughter has a couple, I could make her cases for her things for taking to school, or out shopping even. Need to keep these expensive things safe!
I did see the paper pad, and could make one of these for myself, I always need paper in my purse.
This is a great idea. No idea what I’ll make mine out of yet.
I love these Tablet Keepers.
This is great! I have an iPad and designed my own case, but I have had a ton of people ask about how to make one. The template looks wonderful! I am looking forward to seeing all of the creations!
Perfect January project for my already scratched tablet… I’m going to make my holder out of shweshwe fabrics!
What a great idea; so many possibilities! I’m looking forward to seeing all the bloggers tablet keepers. Thanks for the inspiration!
Not only is this a clever idea, the project sheet has many more ideas that are a hit. Love, love, love Clover’s notions and Nancy Zieman’s blogs and tuitorials, especially with Baby Lock machines.
How exciting I can’t wait to see all the creations!! I have my fabric all picked out too.
Nancy
I have several people with iPads that I would like to make cover. Looks fun.
I’m glad the kit has the ability to make one for a paper pad to. Thanks!
I love the “old school” tablet keepers, I haven’t gone digital in the world of tablets just yet.
I have a fabulous tablet that needs a fabulous cover. What great gifts these will be.
I so much like to see, what other Creative minds come up with. I strolled around an iPad since the first came on market but couldnot take the plunge to buy me one. Hubby decided and made a birthday present and I am sooooo happy.
Never having the right bag on hand, I will make a Designer Handbag with a sewn in, zippert compartment for the iPad. The iPad itself will get a matching Tablet Keeper, so I am prepared in style for this year’s office work.
Greetings from Switzerland
